The man gave both his name and his qualifications. The qualifications indicate to me that he is a high-level medical professional who must be speaking with above average knowledge (even for a medical profession). He explained that he is involved in COVID testing and said that the vulnerable should be protected.Therefore he agrees there is a nasty illness out there but the reaction to it has been extreme. He said it is politics playing medicine.

If he is a crack pot what other things has he been involved in that show this? His name is in the YouTube. He is not hiding.

The principle in this scripture can be rolled out to assess medical professionals at all levels.

In this video Ali shares a recording from Dr Harkinson. He is a medical specialist in pathology and virology, trained at Cambridge University, UK. He is the ex-President of the Pathology Section of the Medical Association. Previous to this he was Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine doing a lot of teaching. He is Chairman of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (in Ottowa, I think he says) and he is currently the Chairman of a biotechnology company in North Carolina selling a COVID 19 test.

He says all this is a hoax. It is politics playing medicine and we should go back to normal tomorrow.

Hypocritical Stance of Jehovah`s Witnesses Over The Years.

i`m thinking of times when the jw organization has been hypocritical in their beliefs / practices .

they make sure they are no part of christendom in any way shape or form ,the understanding the r&f have of the organization.. the r&f members are not to have any dealings with christendoms religions in business or otherwise.. but what does the jw organization do ?

they sell watchtower property to christendoms churches for profit .. the r&f are to be separate from the world and call the league of nations and it`s successor the united nations the counterfeit kingdom of god ,the abhorrent thing standing in the place of god ?.

I know of one Catholic cleric who has never even heard of the word disfellowshipping. He had to go and look it up, even though his relatives are JWs - who themselves have just been booted out.

Excommunication (not communicating to someone) is the Catholic term and it is not used on ordinary Catholics just high level Catholics - whatever that means.

I remember a power elder, heavily involved with the building of Bristol Assembly Hall, UK say to me in KH library, "we just want your money." I thought he was joking because this was the exact opposite of what I had been told in my Bible study.

I had only been in for about 3 or 4 years when he said that to me. He is still in now. I'm not. I got kicked out.

They say they are just like Jesus and encourage questions. For example, rather than telling his disciples who he was, Jesus asked them.

(Matthew 16:13-17) . . .Now when he had come into the parts of Caes‧a‧re′a Phi‧lip′pi, Jesus went asking his disciples: “Who are men saying the Son of man is?” 14 They said: “Some say John the Baptist, others E‧li′jah, still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 He said to them: “You, though, who do you say I am?” 16 In answer Simon Peter said: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 In response Jesus said to him: “Happy you are, Simon son of Jo′nah, because flesh and blood did not reveal [it] to you, but my Father who is in the heavens did.

So - yes right Jesus was honest and allowed others to identify him from what they were observing.

Well, when was the last time you saw a question in a Watchtower study saying, "who do you think the Governing Body are?"

And if there is such a question I bet the answer in the paragraph does not read, "they are a bunch of lying, stinking toe-rags." And if you were to answer as such (maybe using less colourful language) you would be in danger of being put straight into their catapult.

When will the JW Org count for nothing on the World Scene ?

i was wondering if any of you experts on statistics and trends etc could answer the question above ?.

if you know how to do it, if you can extrapolate a true figure for the falling membership in areas that are internet connected, then we can say " by the year **** they will be so small in the internet regions that they will be on the brink".. i have put this topic in " scandals and cover ups" because it seems to me they are trying to hide how many are leaving, and how few are joining in the areas mentioned.

the non internet places will not contribute much in the way of $$$, so however the figures change for them, up, or down, makes little difference.

Even those who are fully engage in the disfellowshipping work don't agree with the Watchtower. So what hope has some poor analyst got to extrapolate information from a dataset where the figures don't mean much? Watchtower keeps having new light. They can reinvent themselves to attract more followers.

But Jesus did say:-

(Matthew 7:13-14) . . .“Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.

It'll be funny if WT has stopped the presses/audio visual etc to put in COVID stuff to study then, woof COVID disappears and all the association individuals are left being told to wear face masks and use hand gel when the governments are saying its no longer necessary.

Ah every individual is now an associate. No longer brothers and sisters? Or if they are... not for very much longer? Huh?

Nearly but not quite as good as when they forbade the sending of love from one cong to another with the public speaker. Their view, love comes from top-down and doesn't go sideways.

So will they be seeking to get professional status next? That'd be funny. And very easy to framed as a privlege. And what is the oldest profession? Prostitution.

Congregation Letter - 2021 Magazines Delayed???

we had a letter read in our cong.

last week that said the public wt and awake would be delayed during the beginning of 2021. meaning we would just use the 2020 version into 2021 and there would be no new ones at the beginning of 2021 until an undetermined time sometime during the 1st half of 2021. at least that is the gist that i remember.

it was in what atlantis provided but there was no further detail....very brief.. any more intel or speculation on this?

You mean coronavirus took them by surprise? Oh. Not like World War I then. Guess that was back in the day when they were on the ball.

Still, God has purpose not a plan and they can only discern his purpose looking backwards. He didn't have to send them a prophet and say - "three weeks to COVID, get ready guys." He just did it and then they've got to do catch up. Yeah... just kind of like nothing in the Bible.
